About
Who We Are
by Kristina Gore
CKG Graphics came about like most things do.
What started out as something small, turned into something more. In the beginning, I needed to find new ways to promote our girls' basketball program. I've been the head coach at Chapmanville Regional High school for a few years now. When we first started, attendance was not at all where we wanted it to be. This was mostly due to COVID, but we also knew we could do more to promote our student-athletes. Our players work hard, play hard, and are fun to watch. I knew if we could get fans in the door, the product on the floor would keep them coming back. That's when I began to learn how to create our own custom graphics to post on our social media accounts. The response was overwhelming. The posts led to more people getting excited about us, interacting with us online, and before you knew it, they were there in person! Out of it all, something completely unexpected happened. Mountain Dreams Media (a company that did a pre-season hype video for us) reached out to see if I would be interested in doing some graphics for them on the side. Other coaches began to contact me with questions about our social media and the things that we do. From there, I began to realize that this could be a valuable service that could impact our local sports community in a positive way. And that has led us to where we are now. With the encouragement and support of my husband, Jarron, CKG (Coach K Gore) Graphics was born.
